Recently there has been an explosion disaluran to the refinery oil pipelines in the city of Homs, Syria (08/12/2011). Reported by the Syrian news agency, the government claimed that an armed terrorist group was behind
the attacks on the petroleum infrastructure. Mea while, Syrian rights
group based in Britain said the pipeline was accidentally detonated
by a bomb. Seven civilians were killed in attacks in Homs on
Thursday, according to the activists was quoted as saying by
AFP news agency.
A resident, Abu Rohayel said smoke rising so thick, so that there are people who suffer from respiratory problems. "I could see mothers cover their children with blankets," he said. The third attack on a pipeline is the case occurred at one o'clock in the morning local time, and the fire are still visible on until noon. Last July, the same thing happened on a gas pipeline in the eastern province of Deir al-Zour.

EU ban on oil-related imports from that country. While
the Syrians continued to complain of lack of essential oil as a
fuel space heaters in winter. Syria's oil production declined to
120,000 per day than 340,000, according to industry experts quoted
